Daniel Gardner (he/him) is a composer, percussionist and educator. Lessons with Daniel are built around student interests and emphasize holistic musical development through playing, listening, improvising, transcribing and theorizing.

Daniel has more than a decade of experience in studio teaching and has taught in middle schools, high schools and universities. His research has been presented at the Sound Meaning Education Conference (2023), the International Society of Music Educators (ISME) World Conference (2022) and is published in Oxford University Press's General Music (2023)

Daniel has a Master of Music in Composition from Western University (2020) and is an associate composer at the Canadian Music Center. He is currently a Ph.D. student at Western University studying music composition with a collaborative specialization in music cognition.

Kelly Currie (Drums)

Kelly holds a diploma in Music Industry Arts from Fanshawe College and has over 8 years experience working in the independent music communities of Toronto and London. Spending his college years teaching lessons and ‘wood-shedding’ in a variety of music projects, he is enthusiastic about sharing his extensive knowledge and passion for drums with anyone interested in picking up the sticks. Kelly is well-versed in many styles including Rock, Funk and Latin. He places an emphasis on groove, musicality and above all, having fun.

Kristine Musgrove (Drums, Percussion, Ukulele, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Saxophone)

Kristine A. Musgrove graduated from Western University with a Ph.D. in Music Education where her research focused on pedagogy employed in secondary instrumental ensembles. Additionally, she holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Florida International University in Miami, Florida and a Bachelor of Music from Stetson University in Deland, Florida.

Kristine has experience teaching percussion (i.e., concert band, orchestra, percussion ensemble, percussion methods, marching band, drumset) to all ages in various contexts. Before attending Western University, she was employed as a secondary music educator in the states where she taught instrumental and vocal music courses.
